NYX Round Lipsticks: Pinks

Lip Du Jour, Strawberry Milk, Harmonica, Marrakesh Pink

NYX round lipsticks come in a huge range of colours and I would say they are just as good as any drugstore brand lipsticks.  From memory they are about $3 AUD from beautyjoint which is so cheap!!  I will go into more detail about the individual ones i purchased below:

Lip Du Jour

This one doesn't really suit me personally but I do find myself wearing it from time to time mainly for more formal occasions.  It is frosty with a slight purple tinge on the lips and the formula is really nice and creamy.

Strawberry Milk

Strawberry Milk seems to be a really popular colour.  It is a bright pastel pink and this one is extremely pigmented and creamy.  This colour is definitely a must-have pink.  The downside however is that it doesn't last too long on the lips.  I find myself having to reapply every hour or two but for me that isn't a big deal and it is still great value for the cheap price.

Harmonica

This is such a nice pale tone pink but is very frosty so if you don't like frost lip colours definitely stay away from this one.  It feels really moisturising on the lips and once again does need to be reapplied fairly often.  But if you aren't in need of a colour that will last all day then this colour would definitely be worth trying. This one is probably my favourite colour out of these four.

Marrakesh Pink

This is a peach toned pink and looks so amazing on the lips.  The downside is that it is quite chalky so it works best with a clear or similar coloured gloss over the top, or if used on top of a base.

Overall I am really impressed by the quality of these NYX lipsticks for the price.  There is a huge variety in the colour range so they are definitely worth checking out.
