Clearly I have a ridiculous shopping addiction. I dont think I need any more faux leather/pleather in my wardrobe but apparently that doesn't stop me from buying more...

These jackets are around everywhere at the moment and I have been loving them so much but I already had enough similar pieces in my wardrobe. I went shopping today and was having a look through the clothes at Kmart (which is seriously underrated for their clothes!) and i found this amazing cropped denim jacket with faux leather sleeves. I thought this would be around $40 because good items like these and Kmart can sometimes be a bit pricey but I looked at the price tag and it was $8 AUD and obviously I bought it straight away. It really looks like such an expensive jacket and the faux leather sleeves are not at all "plastic" looking. They actually look like genuine leather! I don't really love the way it looks zipped up so I think I will just be wearing it open but it really looks so nice and I know i will be wearing it so much. Its also not too warm and not too light so it will even be perfect to wear any time of year.

I am typically not a shorts person - even in summer you will barely see me in shorts. I have been seeing so many leather look shorts in stores and online but it never really occurred to me to actually buy any. I was in David Jones today having a look around mainly after any jackets or winter items and I found these in the MinkPink section. After trying them on I really loved them but decided to go up a size so they would look nicer over stockings. The cut of these shorts are really flattering and they are really comfortable with an elastic waistband. I think these will be great to wear on the warmer days of winter with stockings underneath or with a big parka or jacket over the top. These were originally about $55 AUD and they were marked down to $38 AUD.
